Hey patrick.
So i was thinking, and together with Miriam, we decided that it would be good to write about the swine flu.

No one can stop talking about it. People are cancelling their trips, wearing protective doctor face masks around town, and closing down school districts. However, in the worst case scenario, only 1700 people will die in the united states (not a lot. 30,000 people die of the flu yearly). (I heard this in the news but you might want to double check the number). In other words, it has been highly overrated.

That's the only topic i could think of off the top of my head, but you're more than welcome to choose your own. All i ask is that you let me know what you decide to do.

And please, the sooner you do it, the better. Monday would be ideal. At least a rough version and maybe add quotes (if you need them) and things of the sort for wednesday.

Text (7862858332), ning or email me to let me know what you're going to do

Heello.
Just read your article. I'm so happy you wrote it!
I really liked it. Very well written.

The only thing i would say is that you have too many unfounded facts. Like for example, how do you know that they don't want to have khaki shorts because of "drug smuggling"? Where did that come from?

Other than that sort of thing, i think its pretty good.
I considered it for the paper but i feel like the topic has been written about one too many times.

i really want to publish one of your articles. And it is very likely that if you do a good job on an article around the time we put out the next issue after this one, it will actually get published.
So.. I will be really looking out for the next few things you write!

Good job and keep up the work!

p.s. Your stimulus package article is officially on the online paper! (i would've put it in this next issue but it's old news. i figured it would be a good idea to put it up online, though) :)

Hey Patrick.
Where's your article??
I can't find it anywhere.. and i've checked on your peers' blog.

Look.. When you don't write your article, it turns to be less work for me. But you're screwing yourself over, because based on your planner, i would have probably considered your article for the paper.
I'm deciding and editing right now and your article is nowhere in sight. so there's not much i can do about it!
There's no way it can go in the paper if you don't write it.
Please let me know when you've written it.
If you have it by tomorrow night (Tuesday) and it's good, i'll consider squishing it in for the paper.
But i have to edit and go over it so it can't be any later than then.

Let me know!

Hey Opinion writers!
I like the ideas you guys have.
I don't have much to say on them- they're not elaborate enough. They seem okay so far, though.
Let me know if you guys have any other ideas.

Keep up the work.

Okay.
So I pretty much loved your piece on Obama's Stimulus package plan. It was great!
Really well written, good facts, good style, good grammar (!)..
Well, you know..
Definitely a good option for the paper. It is very likely this will be printed.
We might need to make some changes depending WHEN it is we print it, but i think its pretty much set.
Good job and keep up the hard work!
